SUMMARY:Portia White Gala Concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2016 Portia White Gala concert\, featuring the Dalhousie Health Professions Chorale and the Sackville Concert Band + a program that ranges from classical to contemporary. Soprano Allison Angelo\, a two time Portia White Award winner\, will be our featured guest artist this year. \nProceeds from this concert will help support a young Nova Scotian musician through the Nova Scotia Talent Trust. Now in its 72nd year\, the NSTT was started in 1944 to assist the career of Portia White and has continued in its support of talented young Nova Scotian musicians. The Dalhousie University Humanities-HEALS Program is pleased to be able to make a yearly contribution to this worthy cause.
